Vacation Bible SchoolJune 6-10 Kingdom of the Son: A Prayer Safari Have you ever wanted to go on a safari? The adventure and excitement would be thrilling! Have you wanted to explore the unknown and encounter the unexpected. Well, now you can! And, you don't have to go to a far away country. That's right! This year you can safari with us at First Presbyterian Church. Each day we will discover exotic animals, create safari crafts, play exciting games, and enjoy safari snacks. We will embark on a journey into the pages of God's Word, and you will discover the greatest adventure of all -- getting to know God. Through exploring the Lord's Prayer, we will learn to talk to God and explore what He has in store for us. The animals will help us to learn through prayer that God listens to us, provides for us, forgives us, protects us and that God Rules! So, join us this year for the "kingdom of the Son: A Prayer Safari." You can pre-register at the church and receive a free CD of the music we will be singing a V.B.S. Hope to see you there. Pray, then, in this way: 'Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
